Itinerary:
you will start your trip to Giza plateau where you will explore the following sites:
The Great Pyramid of Cheops (only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world) dates back to about 2,500 B.C.
The Pyramid of Chephren (son of Cheops)
The Pyramid of Mycerinus (grandson of Cheops)
Panorama area for great picture
Camel adventure in the Sahara desert around the pyramids
Valley Temple of Chephren
The Great Sphinx
Later you will have lunch at a good quality restaurant.
Then you will proceed to the Egyptian museum that hoses the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the whole world, you are going to navigate through the eternal sea of ancient Egyptian history with the help of your tour guide/ pilot in the Egyptian museum you are going to see among others: treasures of the king Tut ankhamen, Collection of the Heretic king Akhenaten, colossal statues, sphinxes, animal mummy room, Royal Mummy Rooms (extra fees)
After that you will move to the massive citadel of Saladdin (12th century) that was built to protect Cairo against potential crusades, but it was not put to test in that context, it remained the residence of the ruler of Egypt till the middle of the 19th century. Inside the citadel you will wow at the Alabaster Mosque built by Mohammed Aly Pasha in the 19th century and represents a masterpiece of architecture with its domes and minarets that dominate the skyline of eastern Cairo.
At the end of your tour you will be transferred back to Cairo airport.
